Vote for the RAC as one of the toughest venues in college basketball!

To promote the launch of College Basketball 09, EA Sports is having a vote to select the 10 toughest venues in college basketball, and the Louis Brown Athletic Center (RAC) is on the preliminary list.  An online vote will determine the finalists and the ten arenas with the most votes will then will be visited during the season.  The final rankings will be determined by a panel of experts, and will also be included as part of next year’s game.  The RAC has already been recognized by CollegeHoopsNet as the second loudest arena in the country.  Do your part by showing up to the games, being loud, and voting in the poll (linked below) to ensure that the RAC continues to be recognized as one of the most hostile arenas in the nation. http://www.easports.com/ncaabasketball/toughvenues.action

Men’s and Women’s Basketball Single Game Ticket Distribution

Tickets for the first set of Men’s and Women’s Basketball games (listed below) are now available for pickup on a first-come, first-served basis.  Visit the Rutgers Ticket Office located in the Louis Brown Athletic Center (RAC) on the Livingston Campus during regular business hours (Mon- Fri, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) to pickup your ticket.  Tickets are free for full-time New Brunswick/Piscataway undergraduate students.  Simply present your RU ID.  Tickets can also be picked up prior to each game while supplies last.  Guest tickets are available for purchase (1 per ID) at $15 for Men’s Basketball games and $10 for Women’s Basketball games.

2008 Student Football Ticket Policy

Please read over the 2008 Student Football Ticket Policy and familiarize yourself with it.  The policy contains all of the information regarding student football tickets for the upcoming season.  All policies, dates, and procedures are included.  This applies only for current, full-time New Brunswick/Piscataway students.  Information for part-time, graduate, as well as Newark and Camden students is posted below.

If you did not purchase a season ticket, full-time New Brunswick/Piscataway students can claim a free ticket on a game-by-game basis (according to the distribution schedule contained in the policy).  Ticket claim periods are on a first-come, first-served basis and are handled online via the ticket link at www.scarletknights.com or by clicking HERE.

Information for Graduate, Part-time, and Rutgers- Newark/Camden Students

Information for New Brunswick/Piscataway Graduate Students is posted HERE

New Brunswick/Piscataway Part-time students will be able to purchase tickets on the day that remaining student tickets open up to public purchase (if supplies remain) according to the schedule included in the 2008 Student Football Ticket Policy.
